Paul and I are big MacGyver fans (mainly the early seasons). We grew up watching it on TV Land and Spike. On episode 96 of the podcast, we break down an episode that focused on baseball (S6 E11). MacGyver is on Netflix, by the way. While searching for the baseball episode, I came across this promo during the 1987 World Series. The production behind it must have cost at least $10.
This would have been right in the middle of season three; MacGyver ran from 1985-1992. The Twins took the series over the Cardinals in seven games.
