I write this post while flying through the air. There's a first time for everything. My brothers and I have embarked on the 7th annual Brothers Baseball Road Trip. This year's destination: San Francisco.
2017 MLB Attendance
Overall attendance is down 0.27% from 2016, roughly the same spot it has been the past two months. In recent history, three million fans has been considered the bench mark for a successful team to cross in a single season. In 2016, seven teams crossed the mark: Dodgers, Cardinals, Blue Jays, Giants, Cubs, Yankees, and Angels. With roughly 27 home games left to play, which teams are on pace to do it?
- Dodgers: 2,714,485 (60 games)
- Cardinals: 2,435,318 (57)
- Giants: 2,230,727 (54)
- Blue Jays: 2,126,556 (53)
- Cubs: 2,098,538 (53)
- Yankees: 2,044,597 (52)
- Angels: 2,030,164 (54)
- Rockies: 2,022,938 (54)
Baseball is here! And more importantly, that means the over/under game is back. It seems as though everyone is an expert this time of year. Somehow we convince ourselves that we are better at predicting baseball outcomes than everyone else. Well, AFITB is putting that to the test for the third year in a row. Think you know more about baseball than us? You probably do. But go ahead and prove it anyway.
Baseball is simply the best.
Can the playoffs get even better? Yes, if you play this game with us.
